Qualification

M.Sc Chemistry having specialization in organic chemistry, or M.Sc Chemistry with MSc project in the area of organic chemistry or MSc in Life Sciences having specialization in Computational Biology/Bioinformatics/Biochemistry//HumanPhysiology/Physiology/Immunology/Biotechnology/Microbiology/ Zoology/Biophysics and having Chemistry as one of the pass subjects. Candidates having expertise in Computational Biology and having BSc in Physics Hons. and MSc in Biophysics or BSc in Chemistry Hons and MSc in Biophysics can also apply. Candidate needs to have strong background in chemistry, especially in peptide chemistry and conformational analysis. Candidates need to have valid NET-LS certificate or DBT-JRF (category B) certificate or GATE certificate or DST-INSPIRE eligibility document

Qualification

PhD in Physics, Material Sciences, Chemistry with expertise in Material Sciences, Biophysics, with experience in handling different equipment such as SEM, AFM, spectrophotometers, etc. Experience in optics/spectroscopy will be preferred. (ii) At least TWO first author papers in refereed scientific journals. Preference will be given to high Impact Factor journals, or papers with more than 5 citations. (iii) At least 60% in MSc in Physics/Chemistry, with CSIR-NET JRF or an equivalent qualification, and/or a valid GATE score. (iv) MTech in a professional course. (v) Candidates with experience in working in an optics lab would be preferred.
